In Ardeşen, in the Turkish Black Sea region, Turkey's most valuable tea gardens are located at high altitude.
Only the youngest, top 2.5 leaves of the tea plant (Camellia Sinensi), which grow in steep areas, are hand-picked with great effort for our tea.
The unique organic quality Oolong tea is produced for you with the same great effort and care.
Oolong is not green or black tea. It is a type of tea between the two that allows for this particularly mild taste.
We wish you pleasant tea times with the Turkish oolong from Ardeşen and look forward to bringing a piece of our old tea tradition into your home.
Preparation & consumption recommendations
Bring 250ml water to the boil and pour the water into a suitable tea glass. Wait 10-15 seconds for the water to reach a temperature of 90°C.
Now add 2 grams of oolong tea (approx. 2 teaspoons) and let the tea steep for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, separate the opened tea leaves from the water and enjoy the oolong tea with its mild, original taste.
Oolong tea is of such high quality that the tea can be brewed a second time. To do this, give the tea a little more time and only separate the leaves from the water after about 8 minutes.
Since the top 2.5 leaves contain a particularly high amount of antioxidants, we recommend consuming 3 cups of tea per day.
Store in a cool, dry place and protected from light.
